About Us
Who We Are
A community of accomplished women united by the bonds forged at Federal Government Girls' College, Umuahia.
Our Story
A Legacy of Excellence Since Inception
Federal Government Girls' College, Umuahia, established in 1995, stands as one of Nigeria's most prestigious institutions for the education and development of young women. The school, known by its motto "Pro Unitate" (For Unity), has produced generations of outstanding women who have gone on to excel in every field of human endeavour.
The FGGC Umuahia Alumnae Association is a non-political, non-sectarian and non-religious organization established to bring together all past students of this great institution. Our association serves as a platform for networking, mentorship, and collective action to support our alma mater and the wider community.
From doctors and lawyers to engineers, entrepreneurs, and public servants — FGGC Umuahia alumnae continue to make Nigeria and the world proud. Our chapters span across major Nigerian cities and multiple countries around the globe, united by the bonds of sisterhood and excellence.
